Our 8-week Journeys
Cuban Salsa is known as one of the most passionate dance styles! Different from LA-style, with Cuban you literally dance outside the 'lines' and have total freedom. The roots of salsa originated in Eastern Cuba from the Cuban Son (about 1920) and Afro-Cuban dance (like Afro-Cuban rumba). The dance is typically energetic and fun, with emphasis on expression, playfulness, passion, and connection.

Beginners
If you're new to the art of salsa: it's never too late to learn! Our salsa classes are very fun and beginner-friendly. In this course you learn all the basics and a little bit more, you'll be ready to hit the dance floor! With our level 1 course we work towards the most exciting part of Cuban Salsa: a social (aka party)!

Journey 5 Course
Not my first rodeo
Are you ready for what's coming next? This 4-week summer course course is meant for those who feel comfortable in the basics and extras we taught in level 2. You know figures like enchufla, setenta, kentucky, sacala, ocho & rodeo and want to be challenged once more. If you want to turn series of steps into real dancing, feel more comfortable at a social, do fun rueda's and don't want the fun to end in the summert, this course is for you!

It's addictive, isn't it? Now you feel comfortable basic moves, and start to understand the 'system' more and more. But when is it time to let go of that system? Let the moves you learned so far travel from your head to your body, and learn in this course how you can make something look totally new with a few adjustments! Of course you also learn some really cool new moves and to connect with the music.
